I searched for a word
to name the shift,
A sudden pull,
a quiet gift.
A lifetime of waiting,
wanting to see
The thing they all promised
love would be.
And there it was
a sudden ignition,
The beautiful
crash of recognition.
A feeling unknown
to both our pasts,
A sudden anchor,
built to last.
Now the mirror catches
what words cannot say:
The tilt of a laugh,
the light on the day.
Proof in the pixels,
frozen in time,
Your hand in my hand,
your breath against mine.
Two separate stories,
finally crossed,
No longer waiting,
no longer lost.
Captured in hearts,
a permanent mark:
The day that we found,
and became, the spark.
A theme of a random dream.
